The Schächen valley, with the Klausen pass, the Urnerboden, the Brunni valley and the alp Aesch, is a paradise for nature lovers. Spiringen itself is a perfect starting point for leisure activities. The hiking and skiing area Ratzi can be reached in a few minutes by cable car and the neighboring village Unterschächen offers a beautiful cross-country skiing trail and a clubhouse with modern infrastructure in winter.
